Aren’t We Selecting the REPUBLICAN Representative for State House?

I’m running to be the true conservative fighter our district needs, not a go-along-to-get-along establishment incumbent who attracts crossover liberal support.

Here’s who’s backing Chris Wooten for re-election and what their records show:

• 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐲 (𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐂 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫): Spent much of her time in the Senate fighting against strong pro-life legislation. She was part of the “Sister Senators” coalition that filibustered a near-total abortion ban, earning praise from Democrats and national pro-choice groups while drawing fire from conservatives in Lexington County.

• 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫): Long connected to the National League of Cities, where she served as president. This organization pushes for more federal funding, progressive local policies on housing and environment, and big-government partnerships that undermine local governance. She led the ultra-liberal state teachers union. She also fought to enforce Covid mandates in Lexington County, and actively persecuted community members who defended health freedom.

• 𝐀𝐧𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 (𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫): A liberal activist who participates in “No Kings” rallies, the anti-Trump, left-wing protests backed by activist groups. Her support highlights the crossover appeal Wooten has with the opposition party.

• 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 (𝐂𝐕𝐒𝐂): This environmental group, which frequently partners with Democrats and pushes big-government green agendas, endorsed Wooten. They gave him a 92% lifetime score for votes aligning with their priorities like expanded regulations and anti-development policies. CVSC also endorsed multiple Democrats on the same slate.

• 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬: Democrats have openly admitted to voting in the Republican primary for Wooten, calling him the “less conservative” choice. One local Democrat publicly stated plans to support Wooten, with encouragement from a member of Lexington County Republican Party leadership. This is exactly why we need closed primaries to stop liberal interference.

Lexington County deserves a proven conservative who won’t compromise with the left, not someone relying on liberal and establishment backing to continue a career of conservative compromise.
