Why Iโ€™m Running

This wasnโ€™t a rushed decision.

But for a long time, I watched what was happening in our state - rising budgets, growing government, and real needs being left behind.

Families and small business owners are being asked to do more with less.

Meanwhile, the state budget has grown by 44% in the last decade with little to show for it where it matters most.

Our roads are still strained.

Our infrastructure is still behind.

And the people doing the hard work every day are still feeling the pressure.

South Carolina is infamously known for having a Republican supermajority in the legislature while governing like a blue state.

From taxes and spending, policy reflecting our values, health freedom and anywhere in between, South Carolina lags behind.

Our Republican legislative establishment is liberal and the voting record for our District 69 is consistently rated on the far left of that establishment.

Iโ€™m running because I believe we can do better.

Iโ€™m running because itโ€™s time for Lexington to have a bold, conservative defender of freedom.

I live the challenges our families and small businesses face, and Iโ€™m ready to bring a steadied, principled voice to the State House.

Iโ€™m looking forward to the opportunity to represent you and I would be honored to have your support and vote on June 9th in the Republican Primary.

I want to hear from you! Contact me any time.
